Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, or Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, is a manga series set in Kamome Academy. At this school, there are 7 Wonders/Mysteries that can affect the students who encounter them. Yashiro Nene, a female first year, goes to find the 7th of these Wonders: Hanako the Bathroom Ghost. Hanako is said to have the ability to grant wishes for those who summon her in exchange for something of equal value. Yashiro goes to the girls’ bathroom and does as she was instructed by her friend Aoi. Hanako then appears, but to her surprise, she turns out to be a he. What adventures will Hanako and Yashiro go through throughout the story? Who will they meet? Watch the anime or read the mangas to find out.
In my opinion, TBHK (Toilet-bound Hanako-kun) is a very great anime/manga. From its unique art style to its lovable characters, it’s all very colorful and interesting. I absolutely love how it looks so cute and cheerful, but then it can turn into a dark and mysterious anime/manga.
I highly recommend watching this anime and/or reading the mangas for yourself!
