The Death of Kobe Bryant

January 26, 2020, was not just a tragedy for friends and family of the Hall of Fame basketball player but people all across the world. He died on the way to a basketball game in a helicopter crash in Calabasas California. 9 other people were on the plane and all of them died. One of the 9 people consisted of his daughter Gianna who was 13.

Kobe Bryant was not just known for his amazing talent on the basketball court, but for his never give up mentality. He was known for that and it was later called his “mamba mentality.” Kobe Bryant on the court was a disaster for the opposing team. His highest scoring game being 81 points in a single game. Kobe Bryant was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers from 1996 to 2016 a perfect 20 years. He was 41 on the day of his death.
