Well, here we are. Two new consoles ready to be played and argued about. Listen, I think the console wars are dumb, so instead of saying “Xbox is better because I hate PlayStation!”, I'm going to take an unbiased look at various aspects of each of the consoles and seeing which does the most the best. So, let’s take a look at PS5 and the Xbox Series X and which one is better.
*NOTE: I don’t own any of the consoles, so I’m just going off of what I heard.*
How it Looks & Fits
Both consoles look good, with each of them going for a specific feel. But, as for fits, both kind of fail. The PS5 is really tall, which means on its side it’s really wide, so it’s not really space convenient. The Series X isn’t that better, but it looks like it’ll fit with other consoles and things on your media center. And if it doesn’t fit, the Series X works way much better. And so, I’ll give Xbox this point.

The Controller
Both controllers work well. The Series X controller is basically the Xbox One controller but with very minor improvements, so if you liked that controller, you’ll like this one. But Sony brought out everything for the PS5 controller, with the matching theme to the console plus so many little additions like rumble and yeah, it just works. PlayStation definitely has this point.

The Games
We can’t forget to talk about the games. The reason why you bought the console. WIth Xbox, you have a good variety of third party games like the new Assassin's Creed plus most of if not all of your old Xbox One games being backwards compatible. And the Game Pass still has it’s value. But with PlayStation, you still got games like the new Assassin’s Creed, but you got other things like the pack-in title Astro’s Playroom, and most importantly of them all, the reason why you bought a PS5: Bugsnax. You always forget about Bugsnax. It’s a masterpiece! But anyways, the game is actually Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It has what you loved about the first game plus a whole new story and on a brand new fancy console and it looks so good. Listen, I’ve never owned a PlayStation in my life, but the one game that made me want it was the Spider-Man game on the PS4. And now that there’s a sequel so soon after it was released, I’m sorry Xbox, but PlayStation is winning.

PLAYSTATION WINS
So those are my thoughts on the new consoles. Please keep in mind that these are first impressions from someone who doesn’t have either one of these and I could’ve gone more in depth with the hardware and specs, but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there. So, that’s it. You can go now. Bye.
