Pros

They can increase student focus

Students are not judged by their clothing

They can make students feel more of a community

Makes getting ready for school easier

Limits self expression

Expensive for schools

They can be uncomfortable

Could interfere with religious expression

Less pressure to fit in

Student opinions

Bella- “they are ugly and stupid”

Mya- “heck no I am not wearing a skirt”

Sadie- “they are stupid”

Nick- “they are uncomfortable and they suck”

Eben- “ it takes money away from the schools budget”
