The Sun
The Sun rides
upon the eagle's wings
as it cannot rise alone
The Sun rides
upon the sparrow’s wings
as it cannot fall alone
The Sun waits to
greet the Moon as
he slowly falls away
The Sun rises to
greet a dear friend
he's never met
They share a
smile and slowly
comes the day
Now the sun
needs not the
birds who carry
him, to see his love
The Moon

Whispers
Whispers of the wind.
Can you feel it billowing?
Whispers in your ear.
Can you hear the voice?
Urging you to run quicker?
Urging you to fight?
To be there in time.
To save those quiet voices.
Dare not die alone.
Whispers of the past.
Whispers of the future come.
Dare not go unseen.
Wants to rise again.
Whispers, “I will fight again”.
The Earth comes alive.
